The Mail on Sunday

The Mail on Sunday

The Mail on Sunday, currently the biggest-selling Sunday newspaper in the UK, is all about keeping readers entertained, informed and in tune with the week's agenda.

As you would expect, news heads up the paper, examining the stories of the moment with our usual incisive approach - our award-winning investigations team are at the forefront of probing journalism. Every week top-flight writers Peter Hitchens and Suzanne Moore offer their views from both sides of the political spectrum and James Forsyth reports from inside Westminster, complemented by regular guest pieces from the country's top thinkers, politicians and policymakers.

Travel is a firm reader favourite with a mix of articles by well-known personalities and established travel writers, a stellar list of contributors who can be relied upon by our globetrotting readers for a candid view of the positives and negatives of their experiences, offering insight, ideas and practical advice.

Financial Mail's City and business section has a strong reputation for getting to the root of the real story and our personal finance pages have an emphasis on wealth management and reader interaction.

Sport on Sunday is a pull-out from the middle of the main paper, with top-notch writing and reporting from, amongst others, Patrick Collins and Kenny Dalglish.

The 2011 awards season has seen success for TMoS staffers:  Matt Sandy was named Young Journalist of the Year, Mark Pain Sports Photographer of the Year and Richard Jones highly commended in the Foreign Journalist category at the Press Awards;  Financial Mail Editor Lisa Buckingham was awarded an OBE for her work and Financial Mail's PF Editor, Jeff Prestridge, was named Consumer Journalist of the Year by headlinemoney.co.uk. Sport on Sunday's Nick Harris was voted  the top Internet Sports Writer by the Sports Journalists' Association.
