We're pleased to announce a restructure of the newspaper agency trading team.
Adam Gilsenan, currently Agency Trading Manager has been promoted to Head of Agency Trading. Gilsenan's role will encompass trading across the entire Mail group portfolio (Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, Weekend magazine, You magazine, Live magazine and Inspire magazine). He will report directly into Rosemary Gorman, who was recently promoted to Mail Group Advertisement Director role following John Teal's resignation.
Mark Barry has been promoted to take over Adam's role as Agency Trading Manager across a portfolio of west end agencies.
In addition, Tim Kersen, formerly Account Manager, will take the role of Head of Commercial Development for The Mail on Sunday within the trading team. Tim will work closely with the Editor Geordie Greig and with key agency account planners to drive innovative commercial development within the title.
Inserts will be sold by a specialist trading team headed by James Brook.
All the changes will come into effect on 3rd September 2012.
Rosemary Gorman, Mail Group Advertisement Director, commented: I am delighted to announce these developments within the Mail newspaper trading team. These changes will streamline decision-making across the floor, sharpen our focus on our commercial development, super-service our specialist Inserts clients and allow us to focus on delivering even better customer service.
