Rewards Club boosts Mail circulations

The national launch of the Mail Rewards club on June 11 has already boosted circulation performance for both The Mail on Sunday and the Daily Mail for the month of June and there's certainly more good news to come. The latest ABC report has seen a significant improvement for The Mail on Sunday and a solid performance from the Daily Mail.

Both papers are bucking the market's downward trend and are the best performers in the daily and Sunday sectors: The Mail on Sunday showing a month on month increase and the Daily holding steady at over 2 million. With the market down an average 5%, this represents a major win for both titles.

The Rewards Club is designed to increase cross-purchase on Saturday and Sunday and to encourage more regular purchase from casual readers. Since its launch, more than half a million people have signed up as members and received discount vouchers from retailers such as Tesco, John Lewis and BP. New partners are joining the scheme, the latest being retailer Marks & Spencer.
