Awards for ThisisMoney and Money Mail
This is Money was named Personal Finance Website of the Year for the second year running at the 24th annual Santander Personal Finance Media Awards. The site won the award in the face of strong competition from runners up bbc.co.uk and FT.com.
The judges praised the site for its active readership - readers publish thousands of comments each week - and all-round merit as a personal finance resource.
Money Mail Editor and This is Money columnist, Tony Hazell, picked up the award for National Article of the Year. He earned praise for 'Taxman hid truth about code chaos' published in February 2010.
Tony was also runner-up in the for Personal Finance National Journalist of the Year category.
