The mobile app is currently available on the iPhone, iPod Touch and Android with further platforms being developed. The iPhone app has been downloaded over 947,000 times with 468,000 active monthly users. Over a month it delivers over 600 million page impressions. The Android app now has 195,000 active monthly users.
The iPad app allows users to take a whole day's worth of news - together with all our brilliant pictures - with them wherever they go and read it instantly, even when offline.
New content from News, TV & Showbiz, Sport, Health, Science & Tech and Femail is published the moment it goes online and is available as soon as the contents of the app are refreshed.
Users can swipe between stories in an instant, pinch to zoom in picture galleries, post a comment in seconds, browse stories through their pictures and of course, read offline.
The iPad app has been downloaded over 308,000 times with 128,000 active monthly users. On average users spend 16 minutes per session on the app and view 21 pages per visit.
